Clinical Internship
TBIMT offers university-affiliated clinical internships according to the American Music Therapy Association's (AMTA's) Standards of Education and Clinical Training (https://www.musictherapy.org).
We have worked with students from:
Students from any AMTA approved program who have successfully completed their coursework for the music therapy degree are eligible to apply.
We strive to be a clinical training environment of equity, accessibility, affirmation, and inclusivity and we welcome and encourage applications from persons seeking a safe space.
Internships in private practice offer a variety of clinical experience and ample opportunities to adapt and grow.

Application Process
• Contact your academic program director to let them know you are interested in our internship with Affiliation Agreement.
• Send an email to Sharon@MusicTherapyFL.com to receive the information packet and application.
• Submit all required materials six months prior to your requested start date.
• Once contacted by the Internship Director, schedule an interview (either in person or by video conference). The interview will include demonstration of proficiency in voice, guitar, and keyboard, as well as questions for discussion.
