Founder & Executive Director, Sharon Graham Barrett
Sharon Graham Barrett, M.M., MT-BC, is a Music Therapist-Board Certified and Founder and Executive Director of TBIMT. She received her master's degree in music therapy from the Florida State University, is a certified NICU Music Therapist (credentialed NICU-MT), Neurologic Music Therapist (NMT), and has a variety of clinical experience. Sharon maintains a clinical internship training program and is a frequent presenter at regional and national music therapy conferences. She is also an invited lecturer for medical conferences and colleges. In 2018, Sharon was a recipient of the Notable Noles Award, which recognizes alumni for "exceptional achievements and significant contributions to his or her profession, community/society or the university." She was awarded a Fellowship for the New Leaders Council in 2020. Sharon is a member of the American Music Therapy Association (AMTA), co-chair for the Florida Music Therapy Task Force, Southeastern Representative for the Professional Advocacy Committee, and represents music therapists from the Southeastern Region on the Assembly of Delegates.
